Project at a Glance
Client: Holy Innocents St. Paul’s Church
Architect: Whitehead, Phillipi & Harris Architects

This project, designed by Whitehead, Phillipi & Harris Architects, involved renovations and additions to the existing St. Paul’s Church. The project included a major reconfiguration of the Church enhanced by a four-level addition which included a basement, entrance vestibule, vaulted reception and lobby area, public restrooms and Church offices. ADA accessibility was accomplished by a four-stop hydraulic elevator built within the addition and linked into the existing Church at all levels.
Enhancements to the building and property included a new steeple and lighted cross, new landscaping, and off-street parking. Other improvements included reconfiguration of the Altar, choir and worship areas, along with new electrical, water and fire protection services. Cosmetic upgrades were also made to the Child Care and Classroom areas along with other areas throughout the Church.
