Project at a Glance
Client: University of Pennsylvania – Caster Building
Architect: DLR Group
Location: Philadelphia, PA
This 3,700 square foot project designed by the DLR Group involved the relocation of the Caster Building’s main entrance from the rear of the building to the University’s main pedestrian corridor, Locust Walk. The new entrance included an elevated masonry paver plaza with ADA ramp access, frameless Dorma entrance doors, a glass canopy system and custom stainless steel cable rails. In addition to the new entrance, the main lobby was renovated and an accessible toilet room was constructed in the area of work.
