This project of approximately 7,000 square feet, designed by Jacobs Wyper Architects, took place on the Third Floor of the Rosenthal Building located at the corner of 38th and Spruce Streets.
The scope of work included the demolition/rehab of existing labs, offices and study space to create a single open plan wet lab. In addition to benches, the program included five Research Alcoves, five Tissue Culture Rooms, the addition of HC Toilets and the renovation of two existing Toilet Rooms. Mechanical, sprinkler and electrical systems were modified for the new layout. An adjacent 1,500 square foot space was also converted from a cage wash and lab into a support space for the labs including Offices, a Break Area and a Conference Room.
